Chea Him is PTSD victim. Her husband called He deid in 1971. She has two daughters. Her father called Chea and her mother called Pok. She has 7 siblings. She lost one of her younger brother. In the Khmer Rouge regime, she was lacking of food, medical care, and shelter. She was in combat situation. She used to be brainwashed. She was separated from her family members. She was lost. She was in a situation where her life was in danger. She used to drown at 10yrs. She used to suffocate in 2003. She used to loose consciousness twice.Recently, she has recurrent thoughts or memories of the most hurful events. She feels as though the event is happening again. She has nightmares. She is unable to feel emotions. She feels jumpy. She is difficult in concentrating. She feels on guard. She is avoiding activities that remind her of the traumatic events. She is sudden emotional. She finds it is difficult to perform her daily tasks. She feels guilty for having survived.
