Bin Savat is PTSD victim. She got married in 1983 and has two children. She has 8 siblings, but only three left alive. Her father called Bin Kory died in 1990. Her mother called Prum Say died not very long after Bing Kory died. In the Khmer Rouge regime, she was lacking of food, medical care, shelter. She was brainwashed. She was forced to separte from her family members. She suffocated in 2004. Recently, she has recurrent thoughts of the most hurtful events. She feels as the event is happening again. She feels jumpy. She is avoiding activities that remind her of the traumatic events. She is avoding thoughts associated with the traumatic experience. She is sudden emotional. She feels that people do not understand clearly what happended to her. She blames herself for things thathave happened. She find out by other people that she has done something that she cannot remember.
ប៊្គន សាវ៉ាតមានជំងឺបាក់ស្បាត។ គាត់រៀបការនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៨៣ ហើយមានកូនពីរនាក់។ គាត់មានបងប្អូន៨នាក់ ប៉ុនែ្ដនៅសល់តែ៣នាក់ទេ ដែលនៅរស់។ ឪពុករបស់គាត់ឈ្មោះប៊្គន គយស្លាប់នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៩០។ ម្ដាយុឈ្មោះព្រំ សយ ស្លាប់មិនយូរប៉ុន្មានក្រោយប្ដី ឈ្មោះ ប៊្គន គយ។ នៅសម័យខែ្មរក្រហម សាវ៉ាតខ្វះខាតម្ហូបម្ហា ថ្នាំពេទ្យព្យាបាល និងជំរកស្នាក់នៅ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ត្រូវគេអប់រំផ្លាសប្ដូរគំនិត។ គាត់ត្រវគេបំបែកចេញពីសមាជិកគ្រួសារដោយបង្ខំ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ថប់ដង្ហើមនៅឆ្នាំ២០០៤។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វឱ្យនឹកឃើញដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏ឈឺចាប់ជាទីបំផុតរបស់គាត់។ គាត់គិតថាហាក់ដូចជាព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ទាំងនោះកំពុងតែកើតមានថ្មីៗ។ គាត់ឆាប់ភ្ញាក់ផ្អើល។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងនូវសកម្មភាពណាដែលធើ្វអោយគាត់នឹកដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដ។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងមិនអោយគិតអំពីព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដ។ គាត់ចេះតែបណ្ដា់លឱ្យគាត់មានប្រតិកម្មក្នុងចិត្ដពេលនឹកឃើញដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍គួរអោយឈឺចាប់របស់គាត់។ គាត់គិតថាអ្នកឯទៀតយល់ដឹងពុំច្បាស់លាស់អំពីរឿងរ៉ាវដែលកើតមានចំពោះគាត់។ គាត់ស្ដីបន្ទោសខ្លួនឯងអំពីរឿងរ៉ាវដែលកើតមានចំពោះគាត់។ គាត់បានដឹងពីអ្នកដទៃថាគាត់បានធើ្វអី្វមួយប៉ុនែ្ដគាត់នឹកពុំឃើញសោះ។
