David Hawk interviewed Mr. Pech and asked wtat the meaning of s-21 was. Pech answered that s-21 had power to cover the entire country and was under the control of Pol Pot.{S}means security. The 2 was the second bureau, G2, the old deuxieme bureau, and 1means there was only 1 for the entire country, just one the whole country the biggest one. He odded that the origin of s-21 was s-13 befor 1975.
