Execution:
In 1976, my cousin Ta Em was arrested and taken to be killed at Tipou Village. A villager who lived in Thlong Village informed me about the incident but did not know where Ta Em was taken. Prior to his arrest and killing, Ta Em was drinking, and drinking was a violation of the rule of Angkar. At that time, I was growing vegetables in Thlong Village next to the Phlong River (Taing Krasaing River). I do not know who killed him or how he was executed. Comrade Ny was the cooperative chief. |

In 1973, my son, Seng Sin, enlisted in the army and has since disappeared. When he visited me in 1974, he said that he would be sent to different places. However, I did not know where he would be sent next because he did not tell me. Forced marriage: In late 1978, my son Suy was forced to marry Uch, who lived in Thlong Village. My son was not satisfied with the Khmer Rouge marriage arrangement. The Khmer Rouge intended to force him to get married, but neither his father nor me was aware of the wedding. After the wedding, my son informed me about what had taken place. I do not know who presided over the wedding ceremony or how it was conducted. Today, my son and his wife are still living together with seven children in the family. |
