Main Crime Details :
Execution:

In 1977, my younger brother, Vann Voeun, was killed by the Khmer Rouge. He was taken to be executed by commune security police in Kraom Chamnakk Village, Chamna Leu Commune, Stong District, Kampong Thom Province. Those who captured and killed my younger brother were:

1. Hap, male, currently living in Mea Village, San Na-ya, Sam Proch,
2. Ka-Uon, male, deceased

These two people were the executioners who killed my younger brother. I do not know why they captured and executed him. I am not certain about the killing. My younger sister, Vann Nouy, told me that our elder brother had been taken to be executed.

Under the Khmer Rouge regime, my father also died from starvation.
Other Crime :
Starvation:

In 1975 or 1976, after Pol Pot came to power, people working in the commune office starved me. They gave ten people only one can of rice to eat and each person received only a spoonful of rice put into a sugar palm pot to make gruel. The gruel was mixed with morning glory, and there was almost no salt in it. At every meal, we had to wait for the order to eat. If we ate before the order was given, we would be removed from the table and executed.

The cooperative was located in Lvea Village, Sam Proch Commune, Stong District, Kampong Thom Province. Mao Nha, a male commune chief, gave orders to Siem, the male cooperative chief, and then to Che Srei, the cooperative deputy chief, who was a powerful person in the cooperative. The reason why we did not have enough food to eat was because rice was being exported to China. I think Pol Pot was Chinese, and that is why he did this. The kinds of food we lacked at the time were salt, Prahok (fish paste), fish, and vegetables.
