He was a translator for A.K.P in 1971 and was allegedly encouraged by Sin Kimsuy to join the C.I.A against the revolutionary movement in Phnom Penh and stage a strike. In 1973, he hid himself in the revolution in Kandal Stung District, Kandal Province, Region 15. He reported to soldiers to bomb around Ba Sit Mountain. Later, he was in charge of Division 801. Keo Saroeun allegedly directed him toinstill youths to run back home, to destroy communal property, and to be angry with Angkar because of the lack of medicine. In 1976 he contacted the Vietnamese military in order to fight Division 801. He was arrested on 6th May, 1977.
គាត់ជាអ្នកបកប្រែឱ្យភ្នាក់ងាសារព័ត៌មាន អេ.កា.ភី ក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ និង បាននិយាយលើកទឹកចិត្ដដោយ ស៊ីន គីមស៊ុយ ឱ្យចូលជាភា្នក់ងារ សេ.អ៊ី.អា ប្រឆាំងនឹងចលនាបដិវត្ដន៍នៅភ្នំពេញ និង ធ្វើកូដកម្ម។ នៅ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ គាត់លាក់ខ្លួននៅក្នុងបដិវត្ដន៍នៅស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង, ខេត្ដ កណ្ដាល, តំបន់១៥។ គាត់បានរាយការណ៍ទៅយោធាដើម្បីទម្លាក់គ្រាប់ បែកនៅភ្នំបាសិត។ បន្ទាប់មក គាត់ជាអ្នកទទួលខុសត្រូវនៅកងពល ៨០១ ។ កែវ សារឿន បានចោទរបកាន់ថា បានបណ្ដុះគំនិតឱ្យ យុវជនរត់ត្រឡប់ទៅផ្ទះវិញ, ដើម្បីបំផ្លាញសម្បត្ដិសហគមន៍ និង ដើម្បីឱ្យមានកំហឹងជាមួយអង្គការ ដោយសារមានការខ្វះថ្នាំព្យាបាល។ នៅឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៦ គាត់បានទាក់ទងយោធាវៀតណាម ដើម្បីឱ្យមកវាយ ប្រហារ កងពល៨០១។ គាត់បានចាប់ខ្លួននៅថ្ងៃទី៦ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧ ។
