Makk Phan aka Chhean did not know when Sek had betrayed the party. In September 1976, Hong You aka Han assigned Sek to convince and build up more forces in the cell. In July 1976, Sek was a member of traitorous committee. Sek reported that he had built up 18 forces.
ម៉ក់ ផាន ហៅ ឈាន មិនដឹងថា សេក ក្បត់ពីពេលណាមកទេ។ នៅខែ-៩១៩៧៦ ហុង យូហៅ ហាន បានដាក់ផែនការឱ្យ សេក បំផុស និង កសាងកម្លាំងក្នុងកងឱ្យបានច្រើន។ ខែ៧-១៩៧៦ សេក បានទទួលនាទីជាសមាជិកក្នុងគណៈកម្មការក្បត់ ហើយបាន រាយការណ៍ថា ខ្លួនបានកសាងយុទ្ធជនបាន ១៨នាក់។
