Um Han aka Narat, a chief of Platoon 2, Division 290, confessed that in April 1976, Lim Chhun, a soldier of Company 1, Battalion 292, Division 290, indoctrinated him with the traitorous ideology, and incited hime not to work so hard, because of having insufficient gruel and the Angkar was strict with combatants. In May 1976, Lim Chhun, Hing, Savong, and Um Han, discussed about the traitorous plan, in which, they said that if the war would be staged in Cambodia, they would flee to Vietnam, because they would be happy and had sufficient food and freedom.
អ៊ុំ ហន ហៅណារ៉ាត ប្រធានអនុសេនាតូច២ កងពល២៩០ បាន ឆ្លើយថានៅខែមេសា-១៩៧៦ ឈ្មោះ លឹម ឈុន អនុសេនាធំ១ វរសេនាតូច២៩២ កងពល២៩០ បានអប់រំខ្លួនពីទ្រឹស្ដីក្បត់ មិនឱ្យខំធ្វើការពេក ព្រោះរបបមិនគ្រប់គ្រាន់ អង្គការតឹងតែងចំពោះ កងទ័ព។ ខែឧសភា-១៩៧៦ លឹម ឈុន, ហ៊ីង សាវ៉ុង និងខ្លួន បាន ពិភាក្សាគ្នាពីការក្បត់ថា បើកើតសង្គ្រាមនៅកម្ពុជា ពួកវារត់ទៅ វៀតណាម សប្បាយស៊ីចុកគ្រប់គ្រាន់ មានសិទ្ធសេរីភាព។
