Teng Sovann aka Run joined the revolution at Kbal Snuol in 1973. From 1973 to 1975, he was a district soldier and soldier in region 505. In 1976, he was in tank unit. He told his friends that if there was revoluionary war, he would not join the revolution. Then he was arrested by Angkar.
តេង សុវ៉ាន់ ហៅ រុន ចូលបដិវត្ដនៅក្បាលស្នួលក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ពីឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ដល់ ១៩៧៥ ជាយោធាស្រុក យោធាតំបន់ ៥០៥។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៦ នៅកងរថក្រោះ ហើយបាននិយាយគ្នាថា បើមានសង្គ្រាមបដិវត្ដ មិនធ្វើបដិវត្ដទេ ហើយត្រូវអង្គការចាប់ខ្លួន។
