Mak Phan aka Chhean, deputy chief of division 450 battalion, admitted that in February 1976, Hong You aka Hann nominated him to contact networks of Phoan, deputy chief of political battalion 451, division 450. After that, Phoan and him received plan from Hong You to fight the party on April 17, 1976. After April 1976, he joined the trecherous commission, in which, Phoan was assigned to guard ammunition warehouse, during the coup d'état. Moreover, Mak Phan aka Chhean and Phoan had been constantly indoctrinated by Hong You, until they were arrested by the Angkar.
ឈ្មោះ ម៉ក ផាន ហៅ ឈាន អនុវរសេនាតូច កងពល ៤៥០ បាន ឆ្លើយថា នៅខែ២-១៩៧៦ ហុង យូ ហៅ ហាន់ បានចាត់តាំង ខ្លួនឱ្យទៅទាក់ទងភ្ជាប់ខ្សែជាមួយឈ្មោះ ភាន់ អនុនយោបាយ វរសេនាតូច ៤៥១ កងពល ៤៥០។ បន្ទាប់មក ភាន់ និងខ្លួនបាន ទទួលផែនការវាយបក្សថ្ងៃ១៧-៤-១៩៧៦ ពី ហុង យូ។ ក្រោយមកនៅខែ ៤-១៩៧៦ ខ្លួន «ឈាន»បានប្រជុំគណៈកម្មការ ក្បត់ អង្គប្រជុំបានសំរេចឱ្យ ភាន់ យាមឃ្លាំងអាវុធនៅពេលធ្វើ រដ្ឋប្រហារ។ ក្រោយមកទៀត ឈាន និង ភាន់ បានទទួលការ អប់រំពី ហុង យូ ជាបន្ដបន្ទាប់រហូតដល់ថ្ងៃអង្គការចាប់ខ្លួនតែម្ដង។
