Hin Han, a combatant of municipal commerce unit, confessed that in 1973, Rann, as a Deputy Commander of Phnom Penh commerce battalion, worked in unit with Cheng, commissioner of political unit 308. Until May 1974, Cheng, induced Rann to join the Free Khmer. Hin Han knew that because Oeun and Ret, told him. Before the liberation, Rann, convinced combatants to flee to enemies and their homes. After that, Rann, linked himself with Kuch Na's networks in Phsar Thmei unit in order to join the meeting with Kuch Na, on planning to expand networks.
ឈ្មោះ ហ៊ិន ហាន យុទ្ធជនពាណិជ្ជកម្មក្រុង បានឆ្លើយថា នៅឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៣ ឈ្មោះ រ៉ាន់ អនុបញ្ជាការវរសេនាតូចពាណិជ្ជកម្មភំ្នពេញ នៅអង្គភាពជាមួយ ចេង ស្នងការនយោបាយ៣០៨។ លុះដល់ខែឧសភា-១៩៧៤ ចេង បាននាំ រ៉ាន់ ចូលខ្មែរសេរី។ ខ្លួនដឹងដោយសារ អឿន និង រ៉េត និយាយប្រាប់។ មុនរំដោះ រ៉ាន់ចលនាយុទ្ធជនឱ្យរត់ចូលខ្មាំង និងរត់ទៅផ្ទះ។ ក្រោយមកទៀត រ៉ាន់ បានភ្ជាប់ខ្សែ ជាមួយ គុជ ណា នៅផ្សារថ្មី ដោយបានប្រជុំជាមួយ គុជ ណា ជម្រុញការកសាងកម្លាំង។
