The Tuol Sleng Prison is one of the major secret detention centers of the criminal administration of Pol Pot and Ieng Sary. It was a notorious place for the torture of those who were regarded as enemies. In 1976, there were 1,685 persons, divided into four units as S-21, S-21A, S-21B, and S-21C, including 141 internal security guards, 148 office workers, 54 interrogators, and 1,377 work unit personnel.
គុក ទួលស្លែង គឺជាជុំរុំ ដ៏ ធំមួយនិងអាថិកំបាំង របស់របបឧក្រិដ្ឋកម្ម របប ប៉ល ពត អៀង សារី។ គឺកន្លែងមួយសំខាន់បំផុត សម្រាប់ធ្វើទារុណកម្ម ជនដែលត្រូវបានចោទប្រកាន់ធា ជាខ្មាំង។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៦ មានមនុស្ស១៦៨៥នាក់ ត្រូវបានបែងចែកជា ៤កង ស-២១, ស-២១ក, ស-២១ខ និង ស-២១គ។ កងកម្លាំងផ្ទៃ ក្នុង១៤១នាក់, ផ្នែកមន្ទីរ១៤៨នាក់, ផ្នែកសួរចម្លើយ៥៤នាក់, ផ្នែកកងការងារ១៣៧៧នាក់។
