Keo Meas knew comrade Pouk "Salot Sa or Pol Pot" in 1952 during anti-French colonial period. He got in touch with comrades Pouk and Seung Ngok Minh. From 1945 till 1946, he studied in Phnom Penh. On July 19, 1949, he came back to his homeland. On September 25, 1976, Keo Meas wrote comrade Pouk for his pardon and refusal to be a traitor. He argued that he was so old. He was 50 years old now. He still defended himself in his successive confession and, in other words, appreciated comrade Pouk's communist stance. He wrote comrade Pouk and the party for pardon during his work under the leadership of Seung Ngok Minh and comrade Thong. According to comrade Pouk and Angkar, there must be solidarity in working. By contrast, there were disintegration and contortion in the difference over the party name. In term of this, Keo Meas tried to create a new party and would never commit any mistakes. Instead, he would abide by the constitution of Democratic Kampuchea to refresh himself. In all, he would strictly comply with the syndicate committee.
កែវ មាស ស្គាល់សមមិត្ដពូក «សាឡុតស ឬប៉ុលពត»នៅឆ្នាំ ១៩៥២ សម័យប្រឆាំងបារាំង។ កែវ មាស ទាក់ទងសមមិត្ដពូក និង ស៊ឺង ងុកមិញ។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៤៥-៤៦ កែវ មាស សិក្សានៅ ភ្នំពេញ។ ថ្ងៃ១៩-៧-១៩៤៩ វិលមកភូមិកំនើតវិញ។ ថ្ងៃ២៥-៩-៧៦ កែវ មាស សរសេរសំបុត្រសំទោសពីសមមិត្ដពូក ហើយ បដិសេធថាមិនក្បត់ ហើយថាគាត់ចាស់ហើយ ៥០ឆ្នាំ។ បន្ទាប់មក ចម្លើយសារភាពរបស់កែវ មាសនៅតែបដិសេធការពារខ្លួន សរសើរ ពីបក្សកុម្មុយនិស្ដសមមិត្ដពូក។ កែវ មាស ផ្ញើរសំបុត្រសំទោស សមមិត្ដពូកនិងបក្សក្នុងរយៈកាលធ្វើការក្រោមការណែនាំពីមិត្ដ ស៊ឺង ងុកមិញ និងមិត្ដថុង តាមបណ្ដាំសមមិត្ដពូក និងអង្គការដើម្បីសាមគ្គី ខំធ្វើការងារ តែផ្ទុយទៅវិញក៍មានការបែកបាក់មូលបង្កាច់ដូច មិត្ដស៊ឺង ងុកមិញ និងក្រុមគាត់ដោយខ្វែងគំនិតពីឈ្មោះបក្សក៍មួល បង្កាច់ថាកែវ មាស បង្កើតបក្សថ្មីប្រឆាំងបក្ស ហើយមិនរាងចាល ប្រព្រឹត្ដកំហុសទៀតទេ គោរពលក្ខន្ដិកៈ រដ្ឋធម្មនុញ្ញនៃកម្ពុជា ប្រជាធិបតេយ្យដើម្បីប្រែខ្លួនឡើងវិញ។ គោរពផ្ដាច់ការកម្មាជីព។
