Hao Thouren joined the CIA in October 1968. The Angkar made his arrest on December 24, 1975. Thouren confessed that um Chamreun, 46 years old, joined the CIA in 1969. Before the liberation, Um Chamreun reported to Kalap, Samrit Seila, and Khuon Kandien about the arrest of Men Yet and Men Sethy on charge of the Khmer Rouge. After the liberation, Chamreun conducted CIA activities within Mao Sophany's group.
ហោ ធូរេន បានចូលសេអ៊ីអានៅខែ១០-១៩៦៨ ហើយត្រូវអង្គការចាប់ខ្លួននៅថ្ងៃ២៤-១២-១៩៧៥ បាន ឆ្លីយសារភាពថាៈ ឈ្មោះ អ៊ុម ចំរើន អាយុ ៤៦ ឆ្នាំ បានចូល សេអ៊ីអានៅឆ្នាំ១៩៦៩។ មុនរំដោះ អ៊ុម ចំរើន រាយការណ៍ឱ្យកូឡាប សរិទ្ធិសីលានិងឃួន កណ្ឌៀន ចាប់ឈ្មោះម៉ែន យ៉េតនិងម៉ែន សេធី ដោយចោទថាជាខ្មែរក្រហម។ ក្រោយរំដោះ ចំរើន ធ្វើសកម្មភាពសេអ៊ីអាក្នុងក្រុមម៉ៅ សុផានី។
