The confession of Asma-el Asmatt: 30-year-old Asmatt, male, was a Cham. He was born in Thmei Village, Porpel Sub-district, Tbaung Khmum District, Kampong Cham Province. In 1967, he studied in religion and literature in Egypt. On May 26, 1971, Chem Snguon convinced Kae Sreng, Hann Makk and Isma-el Asmatt to join CIA. Snguon encouraged students to make demand for salary increase from the Front Organization. In 1973, Snguon sent Asmatt to Beijing to contact Sith and convince students there. From 1975 till 1976, Asmatt came back to Phnom Penh and lured many people to be his membership. On December 21, 1976, Angkar consecutively met for talks with his networks to execute the set plans. To achieve this end, they had to grasp the internal situation and to recruit more forces. Isma-el Asmatt was captured on January 2, 1977.
ចម្លើយសារភាពរបស់ឈ្មោះអ៊ីស្មាអេល អាស្មាត់ អាយុ ៣០ ឆ្នាំ ភេទប្រុស ជនជាតិចាម កើតនៅភូមិថ្មី ឃុំពពេល ស្រុកត្បូងឃ្មុំ ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៦៧ អ៊ីស្មាអេល អាស្មាត់បានទៅរៀន នៅអេហ្ស៊ីបខាងសាសនានិងអក្សរសាស្ដ្រ។ បន្ទាប់មកចែម ស្ងួនបាន អូសទាញឈ្មោះកើ សេ្រង, ហាន់ ម៉ាក់ និង អ៊ីស្មាអេល អាស្មាត់ ចូលសេអ៊ីអា នៅថ្ងៃទី២៦-៥-១៩៧១ ហើយដាក់ផែនការឱ្យបំផុស និស្សិតឱ្យទាមទារបន្ថែមប្រាក់ខែពីអង្គការរណសិរ្ស។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ចែម ស្ងួនបានឱ្យអាស្មាត់ ទៅប៉េកាំងទាក់ទងឈ្មោះសិទ្ធិ និងធ្វើសកម្មភាព បំផុសនិស្សិតនៅប៉េកាំង។ ពីឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥-៧៦ អាស្មាត់បាន ទាក់ទងមនុស្សជាច្រើនឱ្យចូលជាសមាជិកបក្សពួកខ្លួន។ នៅថ្ងៃទី២១-១២-១៩៧៦ អង្គការឱ្យ អាស្មាត់មកភ្នំពេញ ពេលនោះអាស្មាត់បានជួបបក្សពួករបស់ខ្លួនហើយធ្វើសកម្មភាពក្បត់ ប្រឆាំងបដិវត្ដតទៅទៀត។ ជននេះរួមជាមួយបក្សពួកបានជួប ប្រជុំ ពិភាក្សាគ្នាជាបន្ដបន្ទាប់ដើម្បីរៀបចំដាក់ផែនការអនុវត្ដយល់ជ្រួតជ្រាបពីសភាពការណ៍ក្នុងប្រទេសនិងប្រមូលកម្លាំងដ៍ខ្លាំងក្លាសំរេចទិសដៅ។ អ៊ីស្មាអេល អាសាត់ ត្រូវអង្គការចាប់ខ្លួននៅថ្ងៃទី២-១-១៩៧៧។
