Lach Khorn aka Thun, working in big cell, division 290, confessed that Preap Sopheak was a person who was indoctrinated to betray the party by him. In 1976, Preap Sopheak received the plot from Thoeun, chief of battalion, division 290, to collect the remaining forces and made an appointment date in February 1977 to go to Vietnam in order to create more forces to fight back the revolution.
ឡាច ឃន ហៅ ធន់ កងធំ កងពល២៩០ បាននិយាយថា ព្រាប សុភាក់ ជាមនុស្សដែលខ្លួនកងសាងអោយក្បត់។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៦ ព្រាប សុភាក់ បានទទួលផែនការណ៍ពី ធឿន ប្រធានវរសេនាតូច កងពល២៩០ អោយប្រមូលកម្លាំងក្បត់ដែលសេសសល់រត់ទៅយួន ដើម្បីបង្កជាទ័ពវាយបកមកបដិវត្ដវិញ ដោយកំណត់ពេលរត់ខែ២ ១៩៧៧។
