In 1975 Sam was transferred to Southwest Region, to Takeo (SH, JAP 33, p. 67) ~ "The original tambon Secretary was Saom. I did not think this was the same Saom who was at Kompong Som. Ta Saom was tambon Secretary from 1970 to 1976. Then in early 1977 because of lung disease and coughing he asked the Organization for release from his position.
