In a speech made at the end of 1978 Ieng Sary said he did not know what happened to the intellectuals who disappeared from Boeng Trabek. He said their disappearence was the work of "enemies" (SH, JAP 4, p. 12) ~ In a speech made at the end of 1978, Ieng Sary told a group of returned intellectualls that if any of them had any problems, they could write directly to the Party (SH, JAP 4, p. 13)
