Loss of my children: In late 1977, I lost two daughters, Saes Fah and Sreyneang. During the regime, they both worked in a children’s unit at Preynup. In 1977, I was evacuated to Prey Brayut of Kampong Speu Province. Normally, my daughters came to visit me. However, when I went looking for them, I asked a unit chief (whose name I do not recall, but now living in Kampong Som), where they were, and I was informed that they had both died. I do not know who arrested them, where they were taken, who was responsible for the incident, or who ordered the arrest. I recall that Met (currently living in Andong Thma of Tuol Toting Commune) lived with my two daughters in the children’s unit. Next, late in 1977, my mother, Nuon Vann, died from starvation at our house in Preynup. Chhun (deceased), a unit chief, is responsible for the death of my mother, because he starved her. When she died, my wife and I were with her, but no religious ceremony was held. Again in late 1977, two or three Khmer Rouge cadres came during the night to arrest my younger sister, Nuon Sreyneang, from our house in Preynup, accusing her of stealing Angkar’s potatoes. I witnessed the arrest. I did not follow them to see where they killed her, but I am certain that the killing took place in Chrakprey. I know that a security police chief and Khmer Rouge security police (unknown names) came to arrest my sister, and they are responsible for her death. Change mode of participation: I want to file the application form to be a complainant, because I am very busy, as follows: 1. I am busy with religious duties in the mosque. 2. I am chief of the Cham foundation of Kampong Som. 3. I am a Cham governor. 4. I am a chief of propaganda section of Cambodian People Party (CPP). I am satisfied to be a complainant in the process of prosecuting the Khmer Rouge leaders. |
