Summary / Abstract :
|
Sarat joined the Free Khmers in 1956 as a reporter. [Sarat]was assigned to assess the situation among students and enticed them to join the Free Khmer. In late 1956, [Sarat]joined the CIA in Kirivong Division, Takeo Province, as a member of reporters league with the task of spreading propagada in favor of the USA. In addition, [Sarat]infiltrated Viet Cong forces disguised as a Khmer revolutionary who joined the revolution with the Viet Cong in order to monitor the Viet Cong's activities. [Sarat]called Thieu Ky soldiers to attack Viet Cong warehouses as well. In 1970, [Sarat]returned to Cambodi a, made contact with the Eastern Zone, undertook actions in Region 25, and opened a training course to train youth to infiltrate military ranks, to destroy the revolution's forces and kill people.
