Former Foreing Minister Bhichai Rattakun believed Sihanouk would not be a threat to Thailand. If Sihanouk faction became a legitimate government, Thailand should recognized it. In the meantime, the go vernment of M.R. Kukrit Pramoj must no longer allow the U.S. to use military bases in Thailand for supplying weapon to the Lon Nol forces. But the government should provided humanitarian assistance to Cambodia.
