Sum Suy, joined the Vietnamese organization in 1970 in region 7. in 1973, he was a messenger of the commander in region 5. At that time, the person betrayed the revolution by inspiring combatants to h ate the revolution, inspiring revolutionist to escape to Thailand, and letting Lon Nol troops gather and evacuate people away. In 1975-77, the person built up traitorous forces, contacted In Tam who c ould arrange for a military base aimed to counter-attack the revolution. They cooperated with Thailand in stagin coup d'état in 1977, with the people who escaped to Thailand serving as their soldiers. In June 1977, he was arrested by Angkar.
