Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1965, Mao Chhoeun [allegedly]was a spy at a rubber plantation, assigned to spy on Khmer Rouge activities and build up spy forces. In 1970, [Chhoeun]worked with the Khmer Rouge as a commune militiam an. In 1975, [Chhoeun]was assigned by Angkar to be an Assistant in Division 117. [Chhoeun]was later moved to live in Kampong Cham where [Chhoeun]started to make combatants afraid of the Khmer Rouge, d estroyed weapons, and burned a gun-powder warehouse in Kampong Cham, and hid weapons in reserve for attacking Kampong Cham and Kampong Thom. On 17 September, 1977, [Chhoeun]was arrested by Angkar.
