General In Tam rejected the allegation that he was involved in skirmishes on the Thai-Cambodian border. But it was the Thai military which was supporting the Khmer Serei forces in attacking the Khmer Rouge. In Tam said there was a support for the Cambodian gang, which often robbed villagers' cattle and smuggled Cambodians out of the country for money.
