About 200 Khmers Rouge soldiers intruded into Thai territory and killed two Thai troopers. Six people were wounded in two separate attacks on two outposts in Klong Yai District of Trat Province. The a ttacks damaged a house, a cinema and a bridge in Klong Yai. The Thai Supreme Commander General Kriangsak Chamanand ordered the Royal Thai Navy and Air Force to support the Army and Border Patrol troop ers under Khmer Rouge attacks.
