Radio Phnom Penh claimed victories in its border war with Vietnam, claiming that 29,200 Vietnamese were killed or wounded. The Vietnam News Agency rejected all allegations made by Cambodia about a Vie tnamese invasion. Diplomatic sources indicated that Vietnamese forces are consolidating their hold. In another incident on the Thai-Cambodian border, Thai forces captured five Khmer intruders after an hour-long gun battle in Taphraya District of Prachinburi Province.
