Twelve Khmer Rouge soldiers on a mission to purchase food and medical supplies in Thailand were arrested in Trat Province. Police found them to be carrying 301,600 baht, US$1,950, several gold ornamen ts, gold sheets and gems worth about 100,000 baht. The team leader said if the purchase was permitted by Thai authority, they would despatch a runner to inform the Angkar Leu, so that men would be sen t to the border to pick up the supplies.
