Summary / Abstract :
|
Nut Voeun [allegedly]joined the revolution in mid-1971 as a Chief of Brigade 2, Division 3. He joined King Sihanouk White Khmer, then ambushed vehicles along Tuol Kouk road. After the liberation day i n 1975, Nut was injured and sent to hospital. There, [Nay]secretly killed high-ranking cadres one by one, destroyed factories, rice stores and weapon warehouses. Nut Voeun also arranged a plot to atta ck Battambang, Phnom Penh, and then Vietnam, but was arrested by Angkar shortly after leaving hospital.
