In 1970, [S arim]went to spy on the revolution with Viet Nat in Peam Rain Sub-District, and joined the Vietnam Workers' Party. Later, [Sarim]went to live in Region 25, encouraged forces on the Vietnamese side to join the Khmers, inspired people to hate the revolution and secretly killed youth from the eastern units. In 1975, [Sarim]was moved to Unit 801 in Ratanak Kiri to spy on the situation of troops for Vi etnam, in order to stage a coup d'état. In March, 1977, [Lay Sarim]was arrested by Angkar.
