Summary / Abstract :
In 1969, Hem Lon joined the revolution as a combatant in Chheu Kach, Prey Veng Province, in order to destroy the revolution's forces. During fighting to liberate Cheu Kach mountain in 1972, he leaked the party's secret plan to Lon Nol's troops in advance, allowing the enemies to attack the revolution's soldiers (with leadership from Moun and Chakrey). In 1975, he continued the betrayal with Brothe r Khoun and Kheiv Koma's plan, inspired combatants to desert, broke up units and solidarity in the units, killed sodiers along the road, and killed foreign guests, until arrested by Angkar.
