Summary / Abstract :

In 1966, Saroeun [allegedly]joined the Free Khmer, infiltrated the revolution in 1967, arranged a plot to lead troops to wipe out the revolution forces, killed people, and was imprisoned in order to c onduct activities with So Sten in prison. Then, [Saroeun]joined the CIA to spy in the revolution, built up CIA forces to oppose the Khmer Rouge, and inspired people to oppose the collective system and the idea of communal eating. In 1976, [Saroeun]contacted Chhouk to encourage people in every district in Region 25 to hold demonstrations against the revolution and provoke conflict between people an d the revolution in order to undermine the building of the party. On 26 March, 1977, [Saroeun]was arrested by Angkar.
