Pov Lim alias Sith, perpetrator in Unit 170, joined a meeting in 1976 to work out an attack plan for 30 September, 1976, the day of the party' s anniversary in which Unit 172 formed the first spearhea d, Unit 171 formed the second, a Special Unit formed the third and a Heavy Artillery Unit formed the fourth. Weapons were kept in Chbar Ampov warehouse. During the mission, forces had to gather at Phs ar Thmei, from where some soldiers were to march towards the Ministry of Information, while the rest were to destroy and loot houses. "If they won they had to futher strenthen their forces to resist t he revolutionary forces outside. If we lost, they had to flee to South Vietnam through Region 24 with Ta Chhouk's assistance and Kampuchea Krom people as supporters.
