Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1967, Chhy [allegedly]joined the revolution in Kampong Cham Province and took action against the revolution as the leading military outsider to attack the revolution. In 1970, Chhy joined the White Khmer and provoked trouble in a hospital and opened fire during night time. Chhy inspired the combatants to withdraw from the defence line and so gave the enemy military a chance to attack the revolu tion. In 1973, Chhy took part in the Workers' Party. Because of Koun, Chhy built up the Workers' Party and inspired them against the revolution. Moreover, Chhy hid weapons, machinery and food supplies with the Vietnamese force region 24, in an attempt to attack Phnom Penh if the overall plan for the north and northeast fell, but Chhy was arrested.
