Summary / Abstract :

In 1968, Kam Chuon a spy for (Lon Nol)troops, and [allegedly]joined the CIA in 1969. In 1970, [Kam Chuon]infiltrated the revolution in Khum Triem Puol as a militiaman, encouraged people to distribute economic supplies to the enemy's regions, encouraged militiamen to join the enemy, arrested those people who gave support to the revolution's soldiers, led the revolution's soldiers into the enemy's d efense line to be killed, and caused turbulence and conflict in Departments. In 1975, [Chuon]was transferred to Battambang, burned factories and inspired people to oppose the revolution, to escape to Thailand. [Chuon]secretly killed the revolution's cadres and contacted In Tam to ask for help to stage a coup in February, 1977. On 26 September 1977, [Kam Chuon]was arrested by Angkar.
