Summary / Abstract :
In 1967, Keo Kan [allegedly]joined the CIA in 1967 and was then educated by Sam Oeun to keep track of Khmer Rouge activities and build up CIA forces. In 1970, [Kan]joined the revolution as a combatant in Region 4. At that time, [Kan]brought combatants for enemy troops to kill, burned people's houses, killed people by accusing them of being spies for the troops, destroyed and burned rice, encourage d people not to bring food to soldiers and incited combatants to get into conflict with the revoluiton. During 1975-77, through In Tam and Sek Sam Ek, [Keo Kan]contacted Thai soldiers in order to gath er military forces to conquer Region 4. On 2 August, 1977, [Keo Kan]was arrested by Angkar.
