Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1970, Sovan [allegedly]joined the revolution and started to destroy Angkar's property in Region 103. In 1974, [Sovan]convinced soldiers not to attack the troops (Lon Nol). In 1975, [Sovan]was assig ned by Angakar to be a bodyguard. [Sovan]then, together with Khnon, spread leaflets in offices and ministries to arouse unrest so as to gather forces to attack the party. In 1976, [Sovan]again caused turbulence in the units by turning soldiers against Angkar, and inciting conflict in the units so that it would be easy to gather forces for attacking Angkar, as assigned by Khuon on 1 March, 1977, [S ovan]was arrested by Angkar.
