Summary / Abstract :
Eng Meng Heang, [allegedly]a Committee Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, contacted a traitorous network in 1972. [Heang]transported food supplies for the Vietnamese, contacted the traitor Van and c aused chaos in Region 33. He opened fire in order to frighten the Chinese delegation and inspired the cadres in Foreign Affairs not to work. He provoked internal conflict in the party. After 1975, he encouraged people to steal rice from central market and planned propaganda which meant to convince combatants to desert the defense line, to assassinated high-ranking officail, to destroy petrol stora ge tanks and where houses. He was arrested by Angkar.
