Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1972, An Korn alias Kol [allegedly]joined the revolution and took the position of a soldier. [Kol]was educated to betray the revolution. [Kol]assassinated the Chief of Damnak Ampil District and use d incendiary bombs which allowed the enemy soldiers to kill many people. In 1975, [Kol]bombarded a military base in Kampong Siem, and open fire in Stung District Office. During 1976-77, [Kol]built up traitorous forces, inspired youth to oppose the revolution and then formed a special unit in Regiment 703 to seize Kandal and Kampong Cham Province, Region 41 and 42. In September 1977, [Kol]was arres ted by Angkar.
