Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1970, Larch Khorn or Chhon joined the revolution and worked as combatant in Peam Chor District of Zone 24. [Khorn]was a member of the Liberal Khmer and cooperated with secret networks everywhere, i n 1971. [Khorn]took action against the revolution and did all that is possible to limit the power of the revolution. The networks informed the enemy to destroy Zone 24, burnt gun powder and documents in Unit 24. In the battlefield, [Khorn]laid mines which caused the death of combatants. [Khorn]hid Vietnamese troops to attack Cambodian troops. In 1976, [Khorn]prepared a plan to seize Cambodia from the Khmer Rouge, with support from Vietnam. If the plan failed, the troops would gather in the forest of Svay Rieng and Kampong Cham Province and the leaders would go to reform troops in Vietnam.
