Samrit Lam Nhorn made a confession about Lon Nol's [alleged]plan made early 1975 to form guerrillas in an attempt to attack the Khmer Rouge, cut off economic supplies, destroy the Khmer Rouge's means of communication and CIA agents in the revolution in order to create internal conflict. Outside the country, Lon Nol built up forces in Thailand, led by In Tam and forces of Khmer Kampuchea Krom soldi ers along the Cambodian-Vietnamese border. In 1975, a political war started and people were educated to hate the Khmer Rouge and to report the revolution's secrets to guerrillas to start attacking by breaking through from Thailand and along the Vietnamese border.
