In 1972, Va Von joined the revolution as a combatant in Kampong Thom Region. In November 1975, [Va Von][allegedly]joined the CIA and was sent to study at the Telepgraph School in Department V66. In De partment V66, [Va Von]destroyed crops, undermined the radio communication of the party, damaged radio equipment, and inspired cadres to be lazy in studying so that it would be complicated for the unit s to solve problems until arrested by Angkar.
