Summary / Abstract :
In 1969, Srey Kunth joined the Free Khmer. In 1970, [Kunth]infiltrated military ranks in the Eastern Zone, built up forces, encouraged combatants to return home, destroyed weapons, discouraged youth f rom joining military service, and allowed youth to have free movement. After the 1975 liberation day of 1975, [Kunth]burned houses near Dorm Kor market and Sroeung Mean Chay, and destroyed other prope rty. [Kunth]later went to Region 107, damaged crops, contacted Vietnam, reported on the location of Region 107 to Vietnam to conquer Ratanak Kiri Province, and encouraged combatants and people to esca pe to Thailand. On 16 June, 1977, [Srey Kunth]was arrested by Angkar.
