Summary / Abstract :

From 1965, Tuon Sophala alias Khoun, betrayed the Revolution. After being released from the prison, where he was held for distributing leaflets, [Phala]worked to increase the number of CIA agents, and supported Lon Nol to overthrow Sihanouk. In 1970, [Phala]formed the Democratic Party, under the supervision of the United States and Lon Nol, in an attempt to continue governing Cambodia. In 1973, [P hala]escaped to Region 15. There, [Phala]provoked quarrels and composed slogans against the revolution. In 1975, Angkar transferred Phala to Region 103 and then to the Ministry of Pulice Works in Phno m Penh. As Ken had advised him to do, [Phala]work to increase the number of traitors in order to take over Department Number 8.
