Includes an organization chart of Keo Saroeun's networks; on page 47, contains a hand-written note in red pen, which reads: Dear Brother, When asked about situation in [his]unit, Keo Saroeun reported there are up to 58 persons in his network who infiltrated in [Division]801, of which there are Chhoam, Lem, Nark, Than and Keo Narong alias Bav, who were all withdrawn to the base. Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1964, Saroeun [allegedly]joined the Free Khmer and spied in the revolution in 1967 as militiaman in the Southwest Zone. In 1970, [Saroeun]allegedly joined the CIA, inspired people's movements to ho ld demonstrations against the revolution, and planned killing Vorn, a Secretary in Special Zone. In 1975, [Saroeun]encouraged forces to hide weapons in reserve for acts of terrorism such as throwing g renades and burning down brick houses, disguised as soldiers. In 1976, [Saroeun]went to live in Ratanak Kiri, transported rice for Vietnam, allowed Vietnamese to infiltrate into the mountain 500H020, weakened the revolution forces by using poisonous substances and threw grenades into trucks carrying rubber. In April, 1977, [Saroeun]was arrested by Angkar.
