In 1972, Hang Sarat joined the revolution as a combatant in Region 25. In 1974, [Sarat]joined the Workers' Party and started to conduct actions against the revolution. [Sarat]then inspired combatants to be afraid of the battlefield and to desert the defense line, exerted power to deal with combatants, and led children to help transport food supplies. [Hang Sarat]was later arrested by Angkar.
