Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1975, So Saphan [allegedly]was led to join the revolution by So Nao in Region 23. He committed betrayal by arranging a plot to put poisonous substances in rice cooking pots to kill people, burned p eople's rice, and contacted soldiers in Region 24 to arrange forces in reserve for attacking the party in 1976. He got in touch with Vietnamese soldiers and brought them to be hidden in people's house s in order to use them to help stage a coup. He continued hiding Vietnamese soldiers until he was arrested by Angkar in 1978.
