Summary / Abstract :

In 1967, Koy Som [allegedly]was a militiaman as well as a secret agent assigned to spy on Khmer Rouge activities. In 1972, [Som]was a Chief of Commercial Section in Region 1. [Som]then motivated peopl e to sell their products to Phnom Penh soldiers and inspired them to distrust Pol Pot's leadership. In 1976, [Som]prepared plans and hid foodstuff in reserve for attacking Pol Pot. On 3 August, 1977, [Koy Som]was arrested by Angkar.
