Summary / Abstract :
|
Don Chhliem joined the revolution in 1972 and became a combatant in Region 4. While [Chhliem]was working in Region 4, [Chhliem]committed many traitorous activities, such as; evacuating people, encoura ging people to join the enemy, assassinating other combatants, and ordering to cut hammock's strings of injured people in an attempt to kill them. After the liberation in 1975, Chhiem encourarged peop le to oppose the Angkar plans of three tons per hectare and inspired inhabitants to escape to Thailand. Additionally, [Chhliem]contacted the troops of In Tam and the Thai to attack the revoltuion in 1 977. On 5 February, 1978, [Chhliem]was arrested by Angkar.
