Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1970, Nhem [allegedly]joined the revolution in the Ecomonic Office of Region 22. In 1971, [Nhem]joined the Vietnam Workers' Party. [Nhem]inspired people to support Vietnam, and built up more forces for the Workers' Party. In 1975-76, [Nhem]was appointed to work in the Mixed Ministry of Region 22. [Nhem]prepared plans to oppose the revolution, incited medical women to carry the injured in the ra in and drop them, and killed medical women who disagreed. [Nhem]ordered women to destroy rice and tools for digging canals. [Nhem]was then arrested.
