Summary / Abstract :

In 1968, Veng Sry [allegedly]joined the CIA to monitor Khmer Rouge activities among high school students in Kampong Cham. In 1973, he was transferred to teach in Battambang and continued his contact w ith CIA networks. In 1975, he was in charge of measuring land to hand over it to people in Region 5. He encouraged people to flee to Thailand and to serve as In Tam's soldiers. In 1976, he hid cars an d tractor components to be transported to Thailand in preparation to attack Region 5 and provided the Free Khmer movement with medical supplies. He was by Angkar arrested on 2 July, 1977.
